Inspiration for my designs comes from a fascination with observing the patterns and gestures of all living creatures and plants. I revel in capturing the tilt of a mermaid’s head as she turns her face to the sun or the twisting character of a grape vine tendril. Fossils, authentic sea glass, beach stones along with turquoise, lapis lazuli, amethyst and all other precious gemstones are a valuable source of color and mystery. I am a scientific illustrator gone jeweler. All my designs are fabricated in my studio on Cape Cod, from gold, highly tarnish resistant Argentium and sterling silver. I hope the hand wrought pieces you take home today become your heirlooms of the future.
